Metaverse

 Neal Stephenson coined term metaverse in 1992 in his science fiction novel ' Snow Crash ' in which he envisioned lifelike avatars who met in realistic 3D buildings and other virtual reality environments. It's a combination of multiple elements of technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality and video where users "live" within a digital universe. Supporters of the metaverse envision its users working, playing and staying connected with friends through everything from concerts and conferences to virtual trips around to the world. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of the newly named Meta (formerly Facebook),  estimates  it could take five to 10 years before the key features of the metaverse become mainstream. Why is Web 3.0 significant?

Intro on short : The third iteration of the Web, in a nutshell, aims to put more control over web content in its users' hands. With Web 3.0, you won't need an account for each social platform--with just one account, you could seamlessly move between platforms, browse for information, or even shop. Is it significant? The next internet revolution is in the works and aims to put more control over web content in the hands of its users. Web 3.0, which will be built on blockchain --the technology underlying bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies--aims to eliminate all big intermediaries, including centralized governing bodies or repositories. Put simply, with Web 3.0, you won't need an account for each social platform. Intro on WEB 3.0

  A Brief Introduction on WEB 3.0 Lets start with the term Web. Web refers to the global network of servers that makes the information sharing that happens over the Web possible.   So far, we reached to the 3rd generation of web. Just on starting phase of web 3.0, web 1.0 is when the WWW introduced to till 2004 and later web 2.0 introduced. Still many websites are based on web 2.0. Web 1.0 Web 1.0  refers to the first stage of the world wide web (www) evolution. Earlier, there were only a few content creators in web 1.0 with huge majority of users who are consumers of content. Web 1.0 is a content delivery network (CDN) that enables the showcase of the piece of information on the websites i.e mostly read-only. It can be used as a personal website. Web 1.0 is static pages.
